Medical Records Clerk/Scanner PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Medical Records Clerk/Scanner will be responsible for ensuring medical records are properly scanned and indexed into the appropriate patient EHR.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normally works 8 hours per day.
May require paid overtime before and/or after normal working hours.
Expected to adhere to general office policy.
Will spend majority of day in front of computer terminal entering data, faxes, copiers, and printers.
Subject to frequent interruption.
Work area is in neat and orderly fashion.
Qualifications:
Must be a high school graduate.
Must have general computer knowledge.
Must have basic typing skills.
Must have some medical terminology knowledge.
Must always maintain patient confidentiality.
Must have strong organizational skills.
Must be able to function independently and accurately with frequent interruptions.
TASKS:
Scan all necessary documents into WQM.
Index all scanned and incoming documents (Fax Press) into the correct patient EHR under the correct document category.
Transcribe any labs done outside of organization for quality measures.
Enter chart alerts in WQM and Rev Cycle.
Scan/Track EKG reports to send to Cardiologist for interpretation.
Scan/Track Primetime forms and send to billing department.
Scan Optum/Buckeye forms in a timely manner.
Complete nursing home records and send to billing department.
Cover WQM at other locations as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Location:
Aultman Health Foundation DFP Schedule:
Full Time, Day Shift, 8-5p.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
