LPN - AOH MED/SURG/ICU
The LPN is responsible for patient assessments, enacting patient care and treatments as ordered by the attending physician under the direction of a Registered Nurse (R.

) The scope of practice for LPN's is clearly defined in the State Nurse Practice Act and is the basis for all actions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;Assists in completing admissions (i.

, vital signs, height, weight, allergy information, current medications, etc.
), and documents findings on the Admission Assessment form.
Monitors patients' psychosocial needs as well as physical needs.
Identifies the psychosocial needs of the patients' families in response to hospitalization.
Monitors the condition of assigned patients on a continuous basis consulting with a Registered Nurse, as necessary.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must possess a current, validOhio license to practice as a LPN.
Current BLS certification required.
