Our approach is to create an environment within Smucker Natural Foods which blends the best of a creative, entrepreneurial and nimble start-up, with the scale and resources of the $8 billion Smucker organization.  In this role, you have the opportunity to significantly impact the strategy for Smucker Natural Foods.  This person will be tasked with delivering sustained growth through both our core business and new products in a fast-paced, fluid environment.  In this role, working closely with the other marketing and cross-functional team members will be critical to your success.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Business Management Analyze and understand key business trends, track and report business results weekly, monthly and quarterly and provide recommendations to address issues in a timely manner Work with the Smucker Natural Foods Leadership team to ensure brand strategy is aligned with the business priorities Align and Influence Smucker Natural Foods leadership to make optimal prioritization and commercialization decisions Effectively coordinate and provide direction to internal functional support teams and outside agencies (promotion, design, research, etc.) Drive new product initiative process to bring consumer focused innovation Utilize the stage gate process and lead on Initiative teams for specific business segments Marketing Plans Develop annual strategies, objectives and budgets for the brand Develop the holistic planning document that outlines the brand vision, strategy and the marketing communications strategy Work with Marketing Services and outside agencies to drive and create an integrated / holistic plan (across all elements of the marketing mix) Ensure all creative executions meet quality expectations and fit with the brand equity Work with Marketing and Sales teams to implement annual plans, tactics and budgets Manage master budget Monitor progress against objectives, develop recommendations and communicate as needed to achieve objectives Achieve annual profit, market share, and budget objectives Industry / Market Contacts Work with Sales, Brokers and staff on regular market visits to understand issues / achievements Participate in customer calls to understand issues and implement plans Collaborate with other marketers throughout the organization to share ideas, best practices, and promote collective thinking Developing the Organization Develop business management, marketing and analytical skills of direct report(s) Participate in pricing strategy development and execution SELECTION CRITERIA Education Four-year college degree is required; a Marketing related degree is preferred MBA is a plus Experience At least 5 years of CPG Marketing experience is required Experience in the food & beverage industry a plus Knowledge of and passion for the natural & organics foods space Project Management (from concept to commercialization of products, but also marketing campaigns, etc.) is preferred Track record of cross-functional team coordination and leadership Innovation experience is preferred Experience working both established information systems (IRI, Nielsen, SPINS, Mintel, 84.51, etc.) and new/emerging data sources to evaluate opportunities Other Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) High level of analytical skills Ability to work in and preserve a creative and entrepreneurial environment Persistent and able to change course quickly when necessary Passion to take initiative, drive change and challenge ourselves to think differently Growth potential Ability to work with people at all levels within/outside JMS Must be willing to travel up to 25% IND123 #LI-123 102898

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
