TITLE Senior Manager, Customer Marketing - Consumer LOCATION Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Akron/Cleveland) REPORTS TO Director, Brand Commercialization - Consumer SUMMARY The Sr. Manager Customer Marketing is responsible for developing sales strategies, communicating key brand initiatives, and driving in-market execution across the JMS portfolio.  In this role, the Sr. Manager will lead the translation of national brand strategies, marketing plans and category/shopper insights into channel and customer specific objectives in order to achieve volume and share targets. The Sr. Manager Customer Marketing is a key contributor to the Consumer Business Unit, serving as the customer/channel advocate responsible for bringing this vital perspective into brand strategies. This role is a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, drives thought leadership on category, customer, and brand initiatives and will work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and demand and supply planning. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Translates national brand strategies, marketing plans, and insights into sales strategies by key channels. Influence the development of Long Range and Annual Operating Plans (quota, trade, situation assessments) from a Category, Customer, Channel, & Competitive lens. Creation of channel specific sales fundamental objectives to achieve priorities and sales controllable objectives: distribution, pricing, shelving, merchandising, and new items. Lead the development of national sales presentations and tools that are rich in category and shopper insights that help Field Sales execute the initiatives in the marketplace with excellence. Communicate key Category, Customer, Competitive insights into volume forecast. Assist in the development of trade promotion strategies, trade merchandising plans, and major trade initiatives. Understand the efficiency and effectiveness of specific trade promotions/other sales activities and make recommendations, where needed. Help provide regular updates to Field Sales of key marketing elements and initiatives (FSI/Media calendars, Catalina, etc). Provide support for product recalls, label changes, innovation launches, and SKU rationalizations. Assist in creation of materials for National Sales Meetings and Sales webcasts. SELECTION CRITERIA Education BA/BS degree required Masters in Marketing or MBA preferred Experience 5-7 years of CPG, Center Store, or Food manufacturing company experience; preferably in customer-facing or trade fund budget management roles Customer marketing or cross-functional experience preferred Experience managing brand strategies, customer/sales development, project management; ideally a combined experience across total path from strategy to sell-in. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
