Sr. Brand Manager - Innovation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Work with the Innovation Leadership team to ensure innovation aligned with an assigned strategic business area's strategy Develop and validate concepts that deliver on key consumer needs and align to the brand strategy Develop a robust pipeline of disruptive innovation that drives incremental and profitable growth. Provide thought leadership to inspire greatness, divergent thinking, and ongoing inspiration for business building platforms for sustained growth Lead a diverse, cross-functional best in class team who will be responsible for shepherding platforms and product concepts through the innovation process, considering strategic, consumer, technical and business viability Lead with a blend of disciplined management practices with entrepreneurial behavior, skills, and mindset to make intuitive strategic decision while appropriately managing uncertainty and risk   Represent innovation with multiple stakeholders including brand marketing, operations finance and retail customers Align and Influence leadership to make optimal prioritization and commercialization decisions Manage the innovation metrics that support overall profitability Assist in building internal innovation capabilities and help to shape a culture of creativity and innovating thinking Manage a small team of innovation professionals to meet innovation goals SELECTION CRITERIA Education Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred Experience 8 + years of relevant work experience 4 + years in the consumer packaged goods industry 4 + years of brand marketing experience with proven innovation success; either new product development, creation of new business models, start-up experience or other entrepreneurial ventures (food industry experience preferred) Understanding of how consumer insights drive the development of effective innovation concepts Proven experience in innovation management - proposes and executes plans that add value and create competitive advantage based on knowledge of how the business works Have previous experience launching multiple new products, including at least one major product from inception to launch Strong analytical capability and ability to lead / influence a cross functional team People management experience Other Sets a high standard for performance.  Pursues goals with purpose and a sense of urgency Creates an inclusive and creative environment Persists despite set-backs and works to gain acceptance for ideas Rallies behind the vision and exhibits optimism Comfortable with ambiguity and excitement about envisioning the future Passion to take initiative and drive change Exceptional communication skill sets in translating disparate sources of information into concise and compelling propositions and stories 103427

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
