Senior Database Administrator ? Infrastructure

Manager, Middleware & Database Platforms
The Senior Database Administrator is responsible for architecting database and data warehouse Infrastructure solutions, while implementing and supporting sound database designs, data integrity controls and security controls. Under general guidance, assist with projects and resource management, while supporting Infrastructure solutions that meet business needs. Collaborate with Information Services team members on standard administration tasks, such as backup and recovery, patching, upgrades, installation, configuration, disaster recovery, and meeting performance service level agreements.
Assist in architecting complex Database and Data Warehouse infrastructure solutions to meet business needs, while following industry and Smucker best practices:
Executes the plan, design, and construction of complex sized database solutions
Execution and enforcement of Smucker security and auditing policies and controls
Collaborate with IS and business to understand and prioritize data(normalize/denormalize form) and information requirements
Execute the plan, design, and implementation of business intelligence tools
Develops standards, policies and procedures for security, promote to production, data structure and attributes for business intelligence reporting tools and systems
Collaborate with IS team members on standard administration tasks as backup and recovery, patching, upgrades, installation, configuration, disaster recovery, and performance service level agreements
Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery and testing procedures
Assist with project with manageable risk and resource requirements:
Under minimal guidance, owns the execution of project plans
Manages projects for supported business area
Executes and enforces standards & methodologies around project management and change management
Bachelor's degree in related field, specialized training or equivalent work experience
3+ years of Oracle RDBMS experience required (versions 12c, 11g)
3+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience required (2012+)
3+ years architecting high availability database solutions required
3+ years of Oracle Exadata or Exalogic experience required
3+ years data modeling experience required
3+ years Oracle Replication/GoldenGate experience preferred
PLSQL and Unix/Linux Scripting (Posix, Korn, Bash)
Experience managing web server computing, multi-tiered enterprise applications and client server architectures
Automation/scripting tool experience
Working knowledge of Oracle SOA (AXF eBS Integration for Imaging: FIPSA
Working knowledge of OID/OVD and OAM and WebLogic Security Architecture
Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems
Working Knowledge of J2EE framework components including JDBC, JMS, and JNDI
Working knowledge of WLST. Python/Jthon scripting a plus
Working knowledge of Fusion Middleware and WebLogic Diagnostic Framework (WLDF)
Strong understanding of Intranet and Extranet Architecture
Strong interpersonal and communication skills a must

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
