For more information about our Company TITLE Senior Developer, Applications LOCATION Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron) REPORTS TO Manager, IS Sales, Marketing & Growth SUMMARY Member of the IS Applications Development team supporting major project initiatives. Duties will include design and development of custom programming solutions, as well as providing development support for packaged (vendor) applications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Analyzes, designs, develops/writes code/configures, tunes and tests technical solutions and system configurations to meet requirements using various database platforms and reporting products Provides troubleshooting support and fixes for software/application issues Partners with Business Process, Solution Development, Integration and data platform teams to deliver quality technical solutions Participates on project teams supporting major J.M. Smucker's initiatives Creates, executes and maintains technical, functional and SOP documentation Adheres to, and supports the use of, IS Standards for code development and promotion Follows defined support call paths including status updates in the case management tool Understands and adapts to new or changing situations, requirements, or priorities; works effectively with varied persons and/or groups Understands how data is utilized and transformed in applications and scripts SELECTION CRITERIA Education Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical discipline preferred Experience Relevant work experience or specialized training in Information Technology Field required At least 3 years of experience in a development role building solutions to support medium to large scale business initiatives Solid understanding of fundamental programming concepts Solid understanding of relational database concepts (normalization, joins, querying & grouping, SQL syntax, etc.)  At least 3 years of experience supporting and/or developing with a major vendor application (either on Premise and/or Cloud solutions) preferred Exposure and/or experience with project management methodology and system development life cycle (SDLC) preferred Oracle Service Bus (OSB) 12c, Oracle SOA Suite 12c, Oracle Web Logic Server 12c, WebLogic JMS 12c experience preferred Other High personal standards of integrity Embrace a customer service mindset Effective spoken and written communication skills Ability to build/maintain strong relationships and effectively partner with peers and internal customers Flexibility to learn new skills quickly and "flow to the work" Ability to focus on detail and produce quality output Self-motivated / Takes Initiative Knowledge or interest in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry Knowledge or interest in Sales and Marketing processes Solid analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills Basic/Advanced .NET development Basic/Advanced SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX/LINUX scripting skills Basic relational database object design and development (tables, stored procedures, etc.) Accenture CAS (Trade Promotions Management), Accenture CAS Modeler and/or Microsoft SQL Server experience a plus 102474

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
