Vehicle Description 1965 FORD MUSTANG 2+2 FASTBACK ROTISSERIE RESTORED This hot looking Ford Mustang is finished in its original color, code 5 Twilight Turquoise.
Looking down both sides, the body is completely straight and the paint is laid out very evenly and smooth.
The clear coat finish has been color sanded and polished to a high gloss finish.
It has a GT 350 style composite hood with a steel frame (we do have the original steel hood).
During the restoration the rocker moldings, grill, door handles, tail lights, gas cap, front and rear bumpers, weather stripping and window seals were all replaced with new.
This was a complete rotisserie restoration.
No expenses were spared.
The interior has been completely redone from carpet and headliner.
The seats have new cushions and upholstery and are exceptionally comfortable! In between the bucket seat sits a 4 speed console with a Hurst 4 speed shifter coming out of it.
It has a fold down rear seat.
The door panels and window cranks are all very nice.
The three spoke steering wheel is in great shape.
Looking forward at the dash sits a 120 mph speedo and Rally Pac gauges.
All lenses are clear, all the knobs are like new and the factory AM radio works.
The engine compartment is nicely detailed with a crate 4 bolt main, 302 cubic inch engine that has a few performance upgrades:
Ford Racing aluminum heads with roller rockers, Holley carburetor, special grind hydraulic roller cam, forged crankshaft, rods and pistons, Edelbrock intake manifold MSD HEI ignition, Watson deep sump oil pan.
It has a set of tri-y stainless steel headers, new power steering pump, new brake booster with dual master cylinder and new 4 core radiator.
The underside is all clean metal.
The front end components are all new.
It's been detailed with new upper and lower control arm bushings, torsion bar bushings and KYB shocks.
It has front disc brakes with 4 piston calipers.
The bottom of the motor is clean.
The Top Loader 4 speed transmission is clean.
It has all new brake and fuel lines, new Dynotech driveshaft, Ford 9 inch limited slip rear end, new gas tank, straps, sending unit and multi-leaf springs.
There is a stainless steel exhaust that runs out the back through the rear valance.
The floors are clean and the frame rails are nice as well.
The E-Brake assembly is hooked up and working.
The trunk is all clean metal.
It is finished in the same color as the body.
It has a spare tire, trunk mat and new trunk weather stripping.
