Vehicle Description 1971 PONTIAC GTO RESTORED, NUMBER MATCHING ENGINE, FACTORY A/C This is one good looking GTO! It wears its factory color, code 75 Cardinal Red.
The body is exceptionally clean.
Looking down both sides, it is very straight.
It has new door seals and new weather stripping.
The bumper has been rechromed.
It sits on a set of original Rally II wheels with white wall tires.
The interior of this GTO is in excellent shape.
The white interior really pops against the red exterior.
The door panels, headliner and visors are in excellent shape.
Looking forward at the dash, all the gauges are nice and the lenses are clear and the dash is very nice.
The factory console is nice.
There is a retro AM/FM radio.
Overall the interior is in very good shape.
The undercarriage is very impressive.
It appears to be all clean and original metal, no signs of any patches.
As I looked up at the motor, I noticed it to be very clean as well as the Turbo 400 transmission.
The E-brake assembly is complete and working.
It also has a factory style exhaust system with a F41 suspension.
Everything appears to be correct.
The engine compartment is very impressive, detailed to factory specs.
It has its original 400 ci engine, it has been completely rebuilt.
It bears casting #481988.
It has the correct manifolds, air cleaner and valve covers.
Some features include:
power steering, power brakes and cold blowing factory A/C.
All of the metal surfaces are painted and have a satin black finish.
The trunk compartment is rock solid original metal.
The trunk floor is splatter painted.
It comes equipped with a spare tire, jack assembly and trunk mat.
