Vehicle Description 402 BIG BLOCK, 12 BOLT REAR END This 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle is amazing in Cranberry Red and correct black SS stripes.
The fit and finish is excellent.
The body is arrow straight down both sides, no signs of rust or damage.
The gaps line up square and flush.
Up front-the grill, SS emblem, bumper, turn signal lenses and headlight bezels look good.
Down the sides-the door handles, window trim and SS emblems look good as well.
In the back-the bumper, tail light lenses and SS emblems are nice.
It sits on a set of original 15x7 5-spoke SS wheels with Goodyear Eagle ST radials tires.
The engine compartment is nice and tidy with its 402 ci motor, factory painted valve covers, chrome air cleaner, factory exhaust manifolds and cadmium plated power brake booster with new master cylinder.
It features power steering, 4-core radiator and HEI ignition.
All of the metal surfaces are nicely painted.
The interior looks practically new from the carpet to the headliner.
The dash is in great shape along with the dash pad.
This Chevelle has the SS instrument panel (speedometer, gas gauge and clock), factory AM radio and sure grip steering wheel with SS horn button.
The heater controls slide with ease.
The front bucket seats and the rear seat appear to have been re-upholstered.
The door panels and kick panels are nice.
It has a factory console with a horseshoe shifter nestled between the bucket seats.
It also comes complete with front and rear seatbelts.
The undercarriage is all clean metal.
The bottom of the motor is clean as well as the transmission.
The front end looks to have been rebuilt including the shocks.
