Vehicle Description 1966 PONTIAC GTO, PHS DOCUMENTED PROTECT-O-PLATE / WEST COAST CAR-PENDING!! It stands out with its Burgundy exterior factory color.
The paint is very glossy.
When I look down both sides of this car, it is very straight.
The front and rear bumpers are shiny.
The stainless trim around the front and rear windows and rocker molding look to have been polished or replaced with new.
The factory tinted glass is in great shape.
It has new weather stripping and window seals.
Rare red inner fender well inserts.
It sits on a set of Pontiac Rally 1 wheels with new center caps and trim rings and a set of redline tires.
The engine compartment is detailed with its original, number matching 389 motor that has been totally rebuilt, tri-power was added, factory chrome valve covers and stock exhaust manifolds.
A Borg Warner Super T-10 transmission was added.
It has factory A/C, cadmium plated Delco Moraine power brake booster with a new master cylinder, factory Harrison 4-core radiator (that helps it run cool on hot summer days) and factory clutch fan with correct fan shroud.
The engine bay is finished in a black satin finish.
The interior shows well with newer door panels, armrests and bases, carpet, sill plates, headliner, and package tray.
The dash is in nice shape as well as all the rally gauge cluster and tachometer which work as they should.
The dash pad is in good shape with no cracks.
It has a factory Pontiac wood steering wheel, power windows that go up and down with ease and a factory remote mirror.
It has an original Hurst 4- speed shifter and a very nice 4-speed console, factory AM/FM radio, reverb, power antenna, power windows and Pontiac floor mats to match the rest of the interior.
The undercarriage, the floors and frame are super clean, no rust and is painted in a black satin finish.
The bottom of the motor and transmission are clean.
The front-end suspension looks all new.
It has new front and rear shocks, E-brake cables are hooked up and working.
It has a stainless steel exhaust system going all the way out the back with correct stainless steel trumpet tips, newer gas tank, straps and sending unit The trunk is clean.
It has a coat of splatter paint finish, no rust whatsoever.
Bottom of the trunk is painted nicely.
It has new weather stripping and a factory trunk mat.
The spare is a steel wheel with a tire cover.
It also has the complete jack assembly and lug wrench.
This is one great looking GTO! It's clean, fast, straight and it's been well cared for! Bottom line being loaded with factory options is a rare find.
